He currently serves as the Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Interventional Radiology at Sree Gokulam Medical College and as Senior Consultant at GG Hospital and Sree Gokulam Superspeciality Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.

His focus is on using image-guided, minimally invasive procedures to treat complex medical conditions without the need for open surgery. From uterine fibroids and varicose veins to dialysis access and tumor biopsies, Dr. Praveen offers safe and effective options designed to improve outcomes and reduce recovery time.

He has led the development of 24×7 IR services in hospital settings, initiated dedicated interventional radiology OPDs, and helped shape training programs for young radiologists.
